Lets figure out why.
Classroom observation is an opportunity to see a child in their natural environment during different parts of their day such as playground, circle time, center time, and/or instructional time. Consultation with teacher and staff is an opportunity to acquire an understanding of challenges being faced in the classroom. An action plan is then created to include suggestions for instructional, classroom, and general modifications to improve success in the classroom.
Topics such as sensory processing and regulation in the classroom, fine motor development, digital health and wellness and more.

Through the specially filtered music, the SSP sends cues of safety to your nervous system, building the foundation for awareness, embodiment and resilience. When our nervous system is regulated, it’s easier to sleep, eat, digest, concentrate, communicate, and participate in meaningful relationships with others. By activating the part of your brain that allows us to be more social, affectionate and connected, the SSP can help shift you into a state where you are more comfortable and at ease engaging with others, leading to deeper and more meaningful relationships.
Sometimes our kids need in a little support communicating effectively, problem solving, staying regulated, and building ideas during play with peers. Small groups or dyads are facilitated in a way to support, challenge, and nurture these skills in a safe and fun environment.

Pediatric occupational therapy is a specialized branch of therapy aimed at helping children develop the necessary skills to effectively engage in everyday activities. Occupational therapists work with children who face challenges in areas such as fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, self-care tasks, play, and social interactions. Through personalized assessments and interventions, therapists create tailored plans to address individual needs, enhance motor skills, sensory integration, and cognitive abilities. This therapy assists children in gaining independence and confidence, improving their overall quality of life and ability to participate fully in school, home, and social settings.
Not only does massage help your baby to release stress which builds daily from new experiences, it allows them to relax. Massage has been shown to increase melatonin in infants. Massaging your baby helps your little one to sleep deeper and for longer periods of time which can translate into you being able to sleep longer as well!
Within the first year of life a baby's brain will double in size. This is considered a critical period for sensorimotor development. Infant massage increases body awareness, enhances neurological development, and aids in growth and weight gain by increasing nutrient absorption.
Infant massage has been shown to help relieve constipation, gas and reduce water retention.
